This song is written and performed by a local artist from Goshen, Michael Jay Hughes. Michael Jay recently signed a record deal out of Dallas, Texas and this is his first release, Dirt Road Whiskey. Michael Jay attended Goshen High School but lives in the Montgomery area now and routinely plays in the area at local clubs and night spots. Jeannie Seely recently sang and recorded a song originally written by Dottie West that her family found recently in her possessions after her death. The song was incomplete but Dottie's family asked Luverne native Bobby Tomberlin to complete the arrangement and he did a great job with it.
